How to Create an Account

1. Go online to parts.cat.com. At the top right of the page, you’ll see “Sign In or Register.” Click that and a dropdown menu will appear. Choose “Register.”
2. You’ll be asked to choose your store. Type your city name and then click the magnifying glass to search. A list of options will appear. Choose your store by clicking on it. You’ll also need to check the “Yes, I Accept” box to agree to the site’s terms and conditions. Then hit “Select Store” at the bottom of the window.
3. Fill out the registration form with your basic business information. When you finish, you’ll have to click another “Yes, I Accept” box. You also have the option at to sign up for the Cat parts email list by checking “Yes, Sign Me Up!” Look all the way to the bottom of the window to find the yellow “Create My Cat Account” button. Click that.
4. The next screen that appears verifies the email address you typed in. If that’s correct, click the “Continue” button.
5. Check your email for a message from CWS_LOGIN@CAT.COM. (If you don’t see it in a few minutes, also check your spam folder.) This email contains a security verification code. The next step at cat.parts.com is to enter that code.
6. You’re in. You’ll need to create a username. You can use an email, but you can’t change your username once it’s created. You’ll need to create a password.
7. You’re done. Now, the admin team at Yancey Bros. will link your registration to your store account, if you have one. Once your registration is linked, you’ll be able to see your store’s inventory and pricing in real time.
